“Water Works”, a recent program on NHPTV, discussed several different important points about our water supply and its use. Below you will find a link to a portion of the program that discusses ways to be more efficient with your outside water use.
In this clip, Stacey Herbold of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services says that we may be wasting up to 50% of the water we’re using in our irrigation systems. If you’re on a public water supply, a more efficient irrigation system could save you a lot of money on your water bill. As in other areas of the water industry, there are new technologies that will help you upgrade your system and cut down on water loss.
If you don’t have an irrigation system yet, it’s important to hire a company such as Epping Well and Pump, that will be able to design and install an efficient system with smart technology and base it on your actual on-site conditions. Conditions can vary greatly just between your front and back yards. New landscaping will require more water than an established lawn. There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration to plan the best irrigation system for your personal needs. We also offer contracts where we will come out and start up your system in the spring and shut it down for you in the fall.
We always look forward to helping you with you water needs, both inside and out!
Epping Well and Pump is proud to be the primary sponsor for NHPTV / PBS Water Works programming.
